It is so refreshing to know that there are good contractors out there that actually care about the customer. And I found one! Thanks so much Regan! I am so happy with how my basement suite renovation turned out! For quite some time we had been planning a project in our home. Having researched several contractors and also having received recommendations from friends, we decided to hire Regan Edser of Kapiti Built to manage the renovation process. Regan was fair and has a remarkable work ethic! In addition to being talented at his craft, he is extremely professional, reliable, punctual, tidy, honest, easy to reach, trustworthy, efficient and overall a true pleasure to deal with! A very likeable young man with an amazing talent!
During the time that Regan was working on our theatre room renovation, we actually went away for a week’s vacation. His work ethic still continued in exactly the same manner. What can I say about Kapiti Built? We took a chance on this new company rather than on our tried, tested and true contractors that we had used for years, because we could see they not only understood what we needed, but we were sure they would be willing to do whatever it took to get the job done. And did they ever. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of workmanship, the willingness to put in extra time when it was needed and the suggestions that came from an obvious knowledge of construction and logistics that we could not possibly have forseen ourselves.
We have worked with Kapiti on projects ranging from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars and each time, they went above and beyond, hitting deadlines and completing beautiful work all the while. Saving money was always top of mind and when a good quality alternative would come up, Kapiti always not only suggested, but also implemented it even if it meant more work for them.
Of special note is that we did not know Kapiti or its principals before we started working with them and they became one of our preferred contractors, pretty much immediately.
