Kapiti Built was founded in 2014 by Regan Edser, a pragmatic and approachable journeymen carpenter with over 20 years of experience and a passion for creating exceptional homes. Under his leadership, Kapiti Built has rapidly become one of the most trusted and sought-after provider of custom home building and renovation services in the Central Okanagan.

Environment

At Kapiti Built, we are committed to protecting our planet for future generations. We prioritize sustainability and eco-friendly practices in all aspects of our work. We minimize environmental impacts by using sustainable products and materials and adhere to or exceed the Step Code Initiatives. With multiple Step Code projects completed or underway, Kapiti has the experience to meet new industry standards seamlessly.

But our efforts go beyond using eco-friendly products; we also focus on reducing construction and demolition waste. Led by Charity Edser, a former environmental consultant with a degree in environmental management, our recycling initiative to sort, recycle materials and donate reusable items (e.g., tubs, showers, fixtures) to organizations like Habitat for Humanity is reflective of our dedication to a sustainable industry and a cleaner, healthier planet.
