Regan Edser
Owner & General Contractor
Kapiti Built was founded in 2014 by Regan Edser, a pragmatic and approachable journeyman carpenter with over 20 years of experience. Beginning his career as an assistant and advancing to Superintendent for Edmonton’s largest residential home builder during its peak, Regan’s passion for crafting exceptional homes has been evident throughout his career. Under his leadership, Kapiti Built has quickly become one of the most trusted and sought-after providers of custom home building and renovation services in the Central Okanagan.
Regan’s enthusiasm and dedication are evident in every project he undertakes. He is committed to delivering an unparalleled experience and superior results for each client. His long-standing commitment to quality craftsmanship and personalized service ensures that every home he builds is not just a house, but a sanctuary for you and your family.
Our Promise
We are committed to transparency and accountability, setting clear expectations and timelines; ensuring that you are informed and feeling confident going into each stage of the build or renovation process.
Environment
At Kapiti Built, we prioritize sustainability and eco-friendly practices in all aspects of our work. We minimize environmental impacts by using sustainable products and materials and adhere to or exceed the Step Code Initiatives. With multiple Step Code projects completed or underway, Kapiti has the experience to meet new industry standards seamlessly.
But our efforts go beyond using eco-friendly products; we also focus on reducing construction and demolition waste. Led by Charity Edser, a former environmental consultant with a degree in environmental management, our commitement to sort, recycle or donate reusable items (e.g., tubs, showers, fixtures) to organizations like Habitat for Humanity is reflective of our dedication to a sustainable industry and a cleaner, healthier planet.
Kapiti Built is also committed to giving back to the community through regular volunteer efforts at the Lake Country Food Bank’s food recovery department. This initiative aligns with Kapiti’s dedication to waste reduction practices and reflects their genuine care for the well-being of those in their community.
